Action Plan Activity
What triggers it:
An Action Plan contains a required external URL agenda item, and the employee has submitted the Action Plan for approval.
Who gets it:
Manager
Email contents:
A message that the Action Plan has been completed by the employee.
The due date.
Action Plan Closed
What triggers it:
An Action Plan passes its due date and was not completed.
Who gets it:
Employee
Manager
Email contents:
A status of Completed: Did Not Complete.
The due date.
Each agenda item type and its content.
Action Plan Co-Coach Added/Removed
What triggers it:
A Co-Coach has been added to or removed from an existing Action Plan.
Who gets it:
Employee
Email contents:
A message that a Co-Coach changed.
The due date.
Good to know:
Co-Coach avatars do not display in the email.
You can view all Co-Coaches added to the Action Plan by clicking View Action Plan.
Action Plan Completed
What triggers it:
An Action Plan has been completed.
Who gets it:
Employee
Manager
Email contents:
The completed date.
The due date.
Each agenda item type and its content.
Action Plan Due Date Extended
What triggers it:
An Action Plan due date is extended through Extend and Notify or Reopen.
Who gets it:
Employee
Email contents:
A message that the Action Plan has been extended.
The new Action Plan due date.
Action Plan Reminder
What triggers it:
A manager or employee uses the manual Remind option.
An Action Plan has not been submitted for manager review and is due in about 60 minutes.
Who gets it:
Employee
Manager, when the employee reminds the manager about an Action Plan in Pending Approval status.
Good to know:
The automatic reminder is sent once the Action Plan due time is within 60–70 minutes.
An Action Plan reminder is not sent if the Action Plan was created within 2 hours of its due time.
Email contents:
A reminder message that includes the Action Plan creator's name.
If the employee reminds the manager, a reminder message that includes the name of the employee awaiting manager approval.
Action Plan Reopened - More Information Has Been Requested
What triggers it:
A manager uses Notify Employee Additional Content Needed to let the employee know the Action Plan was reviewed but not approved.
An Action Plan in Pending Approval status is edited and automatically moves back to Answers Due status.

The Pending Approval status only applies to Action Plans with a required External URL agenda item.
Email contents:
A message that more information has been requested.
The Action Plan due date.
Action Plan Started
What triggers it:
An Action Plan has been created and started for the employee.
Who gets it:
Employee
Co-Coaches, if they are added when the Action Plan is created.
Email contents:
The Action Plan creator's name.
The due date and time.
Each agenda item type and its content.
Action Plan Comment Added
What triggers it:
A comment has been left in an Action Plan.
Who gets it:
Manager, if the employee leaves the comment.
Employee, if the manager leaves the comment.
Email contents:
The name of the user who left the comment.
The comment content.
