How do I edit my Ambition homepage?

Your homepage is personal to you. Every user can edit their own layout to show the content most relevant to their role and workflow. Changes you make only affect your own homepage and do not change what anyone else sees.

This article explains how to open the homepage editor, what you can change, and how to save your layout.

This option is available to all users and permission levels.


Edit Your Skills

Your Skills are a collection of saved prompts created by you, your organization, or as a default in Ambition. While Admins can edit prompts for all users, other user types can only edit skills for themselves.

  1. Click "All Skills" next to the skills displayed on the Homepage. The Agent page will automatically with the Skills section loaded.

  2. To reorder your Skills, drag and drop them into the order you want.

  3. To remove a Skill you created:

    1. Click the Skill you want to delete. The Skill editor will open.

    2. Click the thee dots in the top right corner and select "delete".

    3. Confirm your selection.

  4. To edit a Skill you created:

    1. Click the Skill you want to edit The Skill editor will open.

    2. Edit the title, description, prompt, etc.

    3. Click save "Save".

You can only remove or edit skills you have created. If you need changes to skills that have me shared with you, contact your Ambition Admin.

Edit Your Favorites

Your Favorites are shortcuts to pages in Ambition that you use regularly. They appear both in the editor panel and in the side navigation bar under Hub.

  1. Click the pencil icon next to the Favorites label. A panel slides out from the right side of the screen.

  2. To reorder your Favorites, drag and drop them into the order you want.

  3. To remove a Favorite:

    1. Click the trash icon next to it to deselect it, or

    2. Navigate to the Favorited page an click on the star again

  4. Click Save at the bottom of the editor panel to apply your changes or, click Cancel to close the panel without saving.

Adding new Favorites is done from within each page, not from the editor. To learn more try the related article for "How do I add favorites".

Edit Your Homepage Pinned Content

Homepage contains customizable pinned content below the Ambition Agent area. To show, hide, or reorder that content:

  1. Go to Hub and click Home.

  2. Click the pencil icon next to the Homepage label. A panel slides out from the right side of the screen.

  3. Click the eye icon to show or hide different sections.

  4. Drag and drop items to rearrange their order.

  5. Click Save at the bottom of the editor panel to apply your changes or

    click Cancel to close the panel without saving.

What content is pinned by default?

Your pinned content is set automatically based on your role and your organization's configuration.

  • All Users: Scorecards, Coaching, Metrics, Goals, Competitions, Accolades

  • Managers Only: Command Center (in addition to the above)

Views shown with a greyed-out eye icon are currently hidden from your homepage. Click the eye icon to make them visible again.
