How Do I Create a Single Coaching Session?

Single Coaching Session
A single coaching session is a traditional 1:1 that can stand alone or be associated with recurring coaching.
Required permissions:
The Coaching: Create Sessions: Can Create Sessions for Subordinate Users permission is required to create a Session one of your direct reports.
The Coaching: All Access permission is required to create a single Session with any employee.
Access the Session Creation Page
There are two ways to access the Session Creation Page:
From the main menu: Go to Coach --> Sessions --> + Coaching
From your user or managerial dashboard: Go to the Coaching tab --> New Coaching Item --> Coaching
Click on Start Fresh to create a completely customized recurring Session.
Click on Use a Template to use a pre-made Template as a foundation for your Session.
Choose the Session's Name, Format, and Participant
Provide a Title and Description for your Session. You can add an Objective if desired, although this is option.
Choose Single Coaching Session as the Coaching Format.
Click on Add Participants.
Select 1:1 Session as the Session Type.
Use the Available section's search bar to find the employee to be coached. You can also use the Filter Hierarchy Level and Filter menus to narrow down the view of selectable employees.
Schedule the Session
Click on Add Scheduling to set the meeting cadence.
Choose either Start 1:1 Now or Schedule Coaching for the Future.
If you picked Start 1:1 Now, you can link the Session to an existing Program by using the Program Association section's menu. Otherwise, proceed to Add Agenda.
If you picked Schedule Coaching for the Future, set the Session's Open on date, Due on date, and Time Zone.
Set a Start Date, Start Time, and Time Zone for the Program.
Optional: Add a Meeting on date for when the live meeting will be held. Use + Find a Time to identify a calendar slot where you and the employee are both available.
Optional: Link your Session with an existing Program by using the Program Association menu.
Click on Add Agenda.
Note:
Both the Session manager and employee must have synced their Google or Microsoft Calendars to Ambition in order for the + Find a Time to display times full calendar availability. Click here to learn more.
Add the Sessions Agenda Items and Co-Coaches
Click on Add Agenda and select all Agenda Items to to include in your coaching conversation. At least one Agenda Item must be marked as Required.
Click on Add Add-Ons.
Optional: Add a Co-Coach(es) to your Session.. You can add an unlimited number of Co-Coaches. However, the Session employee cannot be a Co-Coach.
Click Save to create the Session.
