Access Group Settings

1. Open the left navigation and click Administration > People > Groups.

 

2. Upon accessing the Groups tab, you will see the Group Manager.

If you can have permission to "Edit All Groups", then all group types and groups that your organization has created will be found here. Don't see anything? Click here to learn how to add groups and group types.

If you have permission to "Edit Subordinate Groups", then only group types that contain groups where you are listed as a manager of will be found here. You will have visibility and access to editing groups where you are listed as a manager.

 

3. Select the respective group type and then the group's name you wish to edit.

 

4. Click on Group Settings.

 

Alternatively, you can access a Group's Settings through their Dashboard.

1. Access the Dashboard of the Group you wish to edit.

↳ You can search for a specific Group's Dashboard by name through the Search bar at the top of the screen.

 

2. Click the "Edit Group" button.

    You will be navigated into the Group Manager.

 

3. Click on Group Settings.

 

 

Group Image

A Group Image adds personalization to the Group's presence all across Ambition. The image will display on the Group's Dashboard and represent the Group across all Ambition features.

 

Set Group Image

1. Access the Group Settings tab.

2. Locate the Group Image section.

 

3. Click Choose Image.

 

4. Select and upload the desired image from your device.

There is a 2MB file size limit.

 

5. Click Save Changes.

If you encounter an error, ensure the image being uploaded does not exceed our 2MB file size.

 

 

Group Anthem

A Group Anthem, a YouTube video, adds extra personalization to your Group's TV Workflows and in-product Leaderboards.

If a Group Anthem is set, it will display:

• On an Ambition TV when a Workflow is recognizing the Group for company-defined Workflow thresholds.
• Through the "Anthem" button on in-product Leaderboards when the Group is in the Top 3.

 

Set Group Anthem

1. Find your desired video on YouTube.

Currently, Youtube Shorts cannot be used as Ambition Anthems.

 

2. Click the Share button found under the right corner of the video.

 

3. Update the Start At time if desired, and click Copy.

 

4. Access the Group Settings tab.

5. Locate the Anthem URL input.

 

6. Paste the Share URL that was copied from YouTube.

Note: Copying and pasting the full URL from YouTube will not work here. You will need to use the Shareable URL.

 

7. Click Save Changes.

 

 

Group GIF

A custom GIF adds extra personalization to your Group's profile image, presence on Leaderboards, and Slack/MS Teams-based Workflows.

If a Group GIF is set, it will display:

• When the Group's profile image is hovered over on in-product Leaderboard.
• On in-product Leaderboards or card style TV Leaderboards when the Group is in the Top 3.
• When the Group is in 1st place within an Ambition Competition, the Group's GIF will appear in the competition interface as well as on a Competition TV Slide if applicable.
• If your Organization uses our Slack or Microsoft Teams Integration, this GIF will be displayed within Slack/ MS Teams-based Workflows you initiate.
  ↳ If a Group does not have a GIF set, one of the GIFs from the GIF Library will display.

 

Set a Group GIF

1. Access the Group Settings tab.

2. Locate the Group GIF section.

 

3. Click Choose a GIF.

If the GIPHY Integration has not been enabled, you will copy and paste a new GIF URL into the GIF Link field. Locate the desired GIF on GIPHY, click "Share", click "Copy GIF Link", and paste the copied link into the GIF Link field.

 

4. In the GIPHY window, search for and select the desired GIF.

The GIPHY integration is pre-filtered as PG-13.

 

5. Click Save Changes.
