Workflow GIFs

Workflow messages sent to Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom will feature a GIF alongside the workflow's content. Workflows sent to Webex will not feature a GIF, but rather the user or group's Ambition profile picture.

Ambition allows for personalization of GIFs both at the user and group level.

User GIF

If a Slack, MS Teams, or Zoom workflow is recognizing a user, Ambition will display the GIF selected within the user's settings.

Group GIF

If a Slack, MS Teams, or Zoom workflow is recognizing a group, Ambition will display the GIF selected in the group's settings.

↳ Users with"Groups: Edit"permission will be able to access group settings and set, edit, or remove the Group's GIF. Learn more about setting a Group's GIFs here.

What if no user or group GIF is selected?

If a user or group does not have a GIF selected in their respective settings, one of the GIFs from the GIF Library will appear alongside the workflow's content.

The GIF Library is populated with 9 default GIFs to ensure Slack, MS Teams, or Zoom workflows always contains a celebratory GIF. The defaults can be edited and removed.

The GIF Library can contain a maximum of 10 GIFs, and the GIF Library must contain a minimum of 1 GIF. GIFs are added 1 at a time.

The GIF Library cannot be used to override a user or group's selected GIF, and a GIF from the GIF Library will only be used in cases where a user or group has not selected a GIF within their settings.

Add or Edit GIFs in the GIF Library

Access GIF Library

1. Open the left navigation and click Workflows. Alternatively access the GIF Library through the quick actions button > Create a Notification.

2. Click the GIF Library tab.

Add GIF to the GIF Library

1. After navigating to the GIF Library tab, click + Add GIF.

2. Click Choose A GIF.

If the GIPHY Integration has not been enabled, you will copy and paste a GIF URL into the GIF Link field. Locate the desired GIF on GIPHY, click "Share", and click "Copy GIF Link".

3. In the GIPHY window, search for and select the desired GIF.

The GIPHY integration is pre-filtered as PG-13.

4. After selecting a GIF, you will see a success message and can continue adding additional GIFs. A maximum of 10 GIFs can be added to the GIF Library

If you copy and pasted a GIF link and encounter an error, verify the GIF link is correct and attempt to paste again.

Edit Existing GIF in the GIF Library

1. After navigating to the GIF Library tab, click Choose a GIF on an existing GIF you wish to edit.

If the GIPHY Integration has not been enabled, you will copy and paste a new GIF URL into the GIF Link field. Locate the desired GIF on GIPHY, click "Share", click "Copy GIF Link", and paste the copied link into the GIF Link field.

2. In the GIPHY window, search for and select the desired GIF.

The GIPHY integration is pre-filtered as PG-13.

3. After selecting a new GIF, you will see a success message and can continue adding or editing additional GIFs. A maximum of 10 GIFs can be added to the GIF Library

If you copy and pasted a GIF link and encounter an error, verify the GIF link is correct and attempt to paste again.

Remove a GIF from the GIF Library

1. After navigating to the GIF Library tab, click the trash can icon in line with the GIF you wish to remove.

The GIF Library must contain a minimum of 1 GIF. If you only have 1 GIF in the entire GIF Library, you must add another GIF before you are able to delete the last GIF.

2. After removing a GIF, you will see a success message. You can continue adding, editing, or removing GIFs.
