Employee Progress in Cadence
Monitor Progress on Employee Tab
Uses with "Coaching Cadences: Create Cadence", "Coaching Cadences: Can Add and Manage Employees in a Cadence", or "Coaching: All Access" permission will be able to view the employee tab within a cadence.
1. Open the left navigation and click Coaching > Cadences.
2. Locate the cadence where you wish to view employee progress, and click on the cadence's name.
3. Click on the Employees tab.
4. The employee tab features a list of employees who:
- are actively participating in the cadence
- are enrolled, but haven't started the cadence
- are paused due to not having a manager assigned
- have been removed. The removal date and the name of the user who removed the employee will also be displayed.
- have completed the cadence
The employees who are you are able to view will depend on your permissions.
Users who have "Coaching: All Access" or "Coaching Cadences: Can Add and Manage Employees in a Cadence - All Employees" permission will be able to view progress for all employees.
Ex. Susan has permission to add and manage all employees, so Susan is able to view the full employee list of users who are actively in or have been in the cadence.
Users who have "Coaching Cadences: Can Add and Manage Employees in a Cadence - Subordinates" permission will only be able to view employees they manage.
Ex. Nathan only has permission to add and manage subordinate users, so Nathan is only able to view users he manages on the employee tab.
As seen in Susan's view above, Nathan is also listed as Catalina's manager but Catalina is not included in Nathan's view of the employee tab. Nathan was selected as Catalina's manager for the context of approving cadence check-ins only, so Nathan is not able to manage Catalina in the context of the cadence (cannot remove or change Catalina's manager) and therefore Catalina will not appear in the employee list Nathan can view.
5. An employee's progression through a cadence can be found in the "Progress" column.
Progress through a cadence reflects the number of steps that have been opened to the employee and does not indicate actual completion of a step.
The employee with 0/2 Steps Completed, may have completed Step 1 of the cadence, but progress will not update to reflect 1/2 Steps Completed until Step 2 opens to the employee.
The employee with 2/2 Steps Completed, may not have actually completed and submitted the check-ins generated from Step 1 or Step 2, but they have progressed through the entire cadence.
In the case of an employee being added to the same cadence multiple times, the progress bar will reflect progress of the employee's most recent or current enrollment in the cadence. Historical cadence performance and can be seen by clicking View History in the "Times in Cadence" column.
Where can I see the status of cadence check-ins?
To verify the status (open, pending, completed) of cadence check-ins, you can locate check-ins generated from a cadence through the left navigation > Coaching> Check-Ins or left navigation > Coaching > Manage > Check-Ins and filter for "Check-In Type = Cadence". You can additionally filter for a specific cadence name though the "Cadence" filter found in both the Check-In and Manage views.
As a manager, Nathan is able to verify that Madeline has successfully completed a check-in that was a step of the "SDR Call Coaching" cadence.
