Private Goals

Who can see a private goal?

Private goals can be seen by:

• the creator of the goal
• users with system admin permission
• the users involved

↳ ex. If a private group goal is created, all members of the group will have visibility into the goal. If a private goal is created for an employee, the employee will have visibility into the goal.

• if a private goal is created for an individual employee, the manager of the involved employee will also have visibility into the goal

Who can edit a private goal?

Private goals can be edited by:

• the creator of the goal
• users with system admin permission
• if a private goal is created for an individual employee, the manager of the involved employee will be able to edit the goal

Creators of private goals will be able to edit goals they create even if they do not have an explicit level of the "Goals: Edit" permission.
