Ambition Permission Sets
There are three Permission Sets in Ambition:
- Admin
- Manager
- Employee
Admin cannot be changed and includes all available individual Permissions.
Manager and Employee can both be customized to your organization's needs.

Customize the User or Manager Permission Sets
1. Open the left navigation and click Administration > People > Permissions.
2. Check or uncheck desired boxes beneath the Manager and Employee headers to customize the Permission Set as a whole.
3. Click the green Save All Permissions button.
Assign Individual Permissions
1. Open the left navigation and click Administration > People > Permissions.
2. From the Permission Manager page, click the Individual Permissions Tab at the top.
3. Click the green Add Permission button.
4. Select a User and Individual Permission.
Further customize the exact Permission level you desire the User to have if prompted.
5. Click the green Save button.
Assign Manager or Admin Permission Sets to a specific User
1. Open the left navigation and click Administration > People > Users.
2. Search for your User in the top right box labeled Search.
3. Once you've found the User you'd like to edit, click the icon.
4. Locate the Permissions options, and check or uncheck the desired Permission.
5. Click the green Save Changes button at the bottom of the User's settings.
If you need to update several Users, save time by updating multiple Users at once.
*Managerial Permissions can also be granted right in the Group Editor.
