An Accolade is an Organization defined achievement represented through Clubs and Awards in Ambition.
An Action Plan is an element of Ambition's Coaching Platform. Action Plans are created for individual employees and assigned a due date. Action Plans are a shared responsibility between the User and the creator.
An individual in Ambition with Admin Permissions. Admin have access to all areas of Ambition including the ability to view and edit all.
A Challenge is essentially a common "spiff" where you select a metric(s), choose competitors, determine a time frame, and go. Simple and great for driving specific behavior.
Framework composed of Check-ins and Action Plans to help drive actionable, Metric-driven conversations.
Ambition's gamification system is flexible, powerful, and effective at motivating employees within your organization. There are two competition frameworks available: Challenge and Fantasy.
A Dashboard is the one-page view of the Data, Goals, and Insights for a specific User or Group.
Ambition's fantasy format is similar to "Fantasy Football" which is widely popular (75M players) within the United States. More involved but perfect for driving collaborative, long-term behavior.
Ambition offers a flexible, powerful Goal Management system that can be used both standalone or as part of the greater performance management system.
Your Organization structure that lives in Ambition. These are your levels of hierarchy that are useful for reporting, competitions, and filtering.
Examples: Team, Location, Division, Tenure, Office, Product Line
You won't add Users to a Group Type, instead you will create Groups within a given Group Type and then add Users to these Groups.
Groups are collections of Users representing the organization structure of your business.
Example: Account Executives, Business Development Reps, Customer Support.
An individual in Ambition with Manager Permissions. Manager Permissions are customizable to open access for creating, editing, and modifying areas such as Users, Competitions, and Data.
A Metric is a quantifiable measure that is used to track and assess the status of a specific process. In other words, a Metric is a measurable/countable action -- an Email Sent, a Lead Converted, a Deal Won, etc.
Ambition contains three base Permission Sets: Admin, Manager, and Employee. What you have access to in Ambition is solely built around the permissions your Organization has in place.
Admin cannot be changed and includes all available individual Permissions whereas Manager and Employee can both be customized to your organization's needs.
Ambition offers a variety of options for accessing, visualizing, and deriving actionable insight from your data.
On a Dashboard, you will find a Scorecard. Scorecards generate two employee super-scores based off of your organization's specific short term Activities and long term Objectives. Scorecard Metrics and Benchmarks are most likely tied to your job function (Role).
A Day in Ambition is the full 24 hour day. You will see your Scorecard preemptively roll over to tomorrow's date at 7pm local time, but your Data will be attributed to the correct day based on the timestamp. The "roll over" is purely visual.
A Week in Ambition is Monday - Sunday.
Quarters and Years are based on the Calendar year and not Fiscal.
Ambition Triggers are behavioral notifications that can be sent to TVs, Slack, and email. Triggers can be created to notify you when thresholds have or have not been reached.
Ambition offers a TV solution where you can display Leaderboards, Competitions, Goals, videos, images, and even third-party embedded content across your office walls.
