Coaching Notifications
Users will be notified via email when they are involved in Coaching.

Coaching Email Frequency
Participants and Managers will receive Coaching Email Notifications when:
Check-in & Program Emails:
- a new Coaching Program has been created (participant)
- a Check-In is available and ready to be completed (participant)
↳ If the manager opted to Schedule 1:1 for Later, the standard new Check-in email will be accompanied with a calendar invite - a Check-In has been reviewed and been approved (participant and manager)
- if applicable, notification that the Check-In has been reviewed but has not been approved by the Program's owner (participant)
- a Coaching Check-In has been completed and is ready for review/approval (manager)
- a Comment has been left in a check-in
Action Plan Emails:
- an Action Plan has been created for them (participant)
- an Action Plan has been completed (participant & manager)
- an Action Plan passes its due date if the Action Plan was not completed (participant & manager)
- a Comment has been left in an Action Plan
Note Emails:
- a new Shared Note has been created, with link to optional attachment (participant)
- a Private Note has been re-saved as a Shared Note, with link to optional attachment (participant)
Things to Note:
New check-in emails will be sent in accordance with the recurrence of a Coaching Program. Daily recurrence = daily email, weekly recurrence = weekly email, etc.
If an individual is involved in multiple Coaching Programs, they will receive a new check-in is due notification for each Program.
If a Goal is utilized within an Action Plan, emails will be sent regarding the Goal's progress as well. Learn more about email notifications associated with Ambition Goals here.
Coaching Email Contents and Examples
Involved in a Coaching Program
The email will contain:
- Program's name
- The Coaching Program creator's name
- Time first check-in will be open to complete
- Preview of Check-in questions

- Time check-in will expire
- Button that will redirect to specific check-in

- Program Name
- Date Check-in was marked complete

- User's name who completed the check-in

- Status. "Completed: Did Not Complete" will signify that the Action Plan was not Completed

The email will contain:
- Name of Commenter and the Action Plan where a comment was left
- Content of the comment left

Note
The email for Notes will be the same regardless of whether the Note originally created as a Shared Note OR a previously Private Note has been re-saved as a Shared Note.
The email will contain:
- The Note creator's name
- Login to Ambition button where any optionally attached files can be viewed.
