Include or Exclude Users Without Data
If you've used a leaderboard before, you have probably asked yourself, "where are the zeros?" This update allows managers to view leaderboards that either include or exclude users who haven't contributed towards a selected metric (nulls). This update is visible in both:
Use Case:
Let's say that Brenda booked 5 meetings last week but hasn't booked any meetings this week.
- Last week her record value was 5.
- This week her record has no data/value to report.
When viewing this week's leaderboard for meetings booked, Brenda would be excluded, because there's no data to report. The standard leaderboard will only show users who have contributed towards the selected metric during that time frame, excluding users like Brenda. This is where the new feature comes in!
How do I include users without data on a Leaderboard?
Within the filters for a leaderboard, select Yes for the Include Users Without Data filter.
Here you can see that the default leaderboard only displayed 5 users, but by selecting Yes, the leaderboard now shows users who haven't 'booked any meetings.'
How do I include users without data on a TV Leaderboard Slide?
When creating or editing a TV Leaderboard Slide, select Yes for the Include Users Without Data setting.
Next, click the preview button to see make sure that you've set up the slide correctly.
Note: Pair this with the sort by "Lowest" filter to see the bottom of the leaderboard.
