Reopen Check-In
My check-in expired and I need my manager to reopen it.
I need to reopen a check-in for my employee.
I need to reopen multiple check-ins.
Send Reopen Request to Manager
1. Access the check-in that's expired.
Check-ins can be accessed through:
- the left navigation > Coaching > Check-Ins
- the left navigation > Coaching > Manage > Check-Ins
- an employee or managerial dashboard > Coaching tab
2. Click on the ellipses icon, , and Reopen My Check-In.

3. An email will be sent to your manager with your request.
4. If your manager approves the reopen request, you will be notified about the reopening and new due date through email.
Reopen Check-in for Employee
The manager associated with the check-in, any co-coaches assigned to the check-in, and users with "Coaching: All Access" permission will be able to reopen a check-in.
1. Access the check-in that's expired.
Check-ins can be accessed through:
- the left navigation > Coaching > Check-Ins
- the left navigation > Coaching > Manage > Check-Ins
- an employee or managerial dashboard > Coaching tab
If your employee sends you a reopen request, click the "reopen check-in" button within the reopen notification email.
2. Click on the ellipses icon, , and Reopen.

3. Select the new agenda due date and time. Click Reopen Check-In.
Reopen Multiple Check-Ins
The manager associated with the check-in, any co-coaches assigned to the check-in, and users with "Coaching: All Access" permission will be able to reopen a check-in.
If you need to reopen multiple check-ins and update them all with the same new agenda due date, you can reopen multiple check-ins at once through the coaching > manage > check-ins page.
1. Open the left navigation and click Coaching > Manage.
2. On the check-ins tab, search for and select the expired check-ins you need to reopen.
Ensure only check-ins with "expired" status are selected.
3. Click Actions and then Reopen.
4. Select the new agenda due date and time. Click Reopen Check-Ins (x).
