Create Group Check-In Template
1. Open the left navigation and click Coaching > Manage.
2. Select the Group Check-Ins tab and then Templates.
3. Click the + Group Check-In Template button.
4. Complete the create group check-in template form.
Details
Field | Field Description |
Name |
The name of the template, which will be selected from a dropdown menu when a manager creates a new group check-ins. Example: "Team Meeting Template" |
Is Editable |
Toggle determines if the managers are allowed to edit the template's agenda items within the group check-in. Selecting Yes will allow the manager to add or remove agenda items. Selecting No will lock the agenda items. |
Coaching Instructions |
Optional. Provide specific instructions, resources, and other details to guide managers on how to use this specific template. Coaching Instructions will not be visible to the employee being coached. To support reviewing a group check-in that contains instructions while screen sharing with an employee, the manager can collapse the coaching instructions section. |
Managers
Select which managers have access to this template.
Allow all managers to have access to using the template, or choose custom and search for and select the specific managers who should have access to using the template.
Agenda
At least one agenda item must be added in order to save the group check-in template.

Rich text editor that can provide information or context to the coaching agenda. It can be used to give more information about the meeting's focus, to provide company updates, or link 3rd party URLs. |

Embed URL |
Iframe a 3rd party website directly into the coaching agenda. Be aware that not all platforms allow 3rd party embedding. If you are embedding a Google Sheets URL, we recommend embedding a URL generated through the "Publish to web" share option rather than "Share with others". Learn more here. |
5. If the template is finalized and ready for managers to use, click Save > Save and Open.
If the template is still in progress, click Save and then Save as Draft. Your template will not be available to create group check-ins with until the template is "Open". You must have at least one agenda item and have selected managers in Step 2 before being able to save your template as a draft.
