Scorecard Walk-Through
Your organization determines the metrics, targets, and weighting that goes into each Scorecard calculation, and the Ambition Scorecard features several values to help track your progress toward targets.
Progress Bar
The Progress Bar is a visual representation of the current Percentage. The Progress Bar can be hovered over to reveal the unrounded value.
Percentage
User Percentages
On a User's Dashboard, if there are no Stop or Start values being used, the percentage is calculated by taking the metric's Current Value / Current Possible Target
ex. 13 / 20 = 65%
Group Percentages
For a Group Scorecard, the Current Possible Target will reflect the number of contributors.
Users who have not yet contributed any values will not be factored into the Group's Current Possible Target.
The Current Possible Target will change as additional Contributors are added to the calculation.
Example - Only One Role Member Is Contributing
Diego and Elizabeth are members of the same Role, but only Diego has contributed towards the Role's collective Target of 20 Appointments Set. Since Elizabeth has not yet contributed, the Role's Current Possible Target is only 10.
The 50% progress is calculated by taking Diego's (the only contributor at this time) Current Value / Current Possible Target (Diego's individual target), 5 / 10 = 50%.
Diego alone is not held responsible for setting all 20 Appointments, so the Role's percentage reflects the percent-to-target for only the active contributors.
Example - All Role Members Are Contributing
Diego and Elizabeth are members of the same Group, and both are contributing towards the Role's collective Target of 20 Appointments Set. Since both Diego and Elizabeth are contributing, the Role's Current Possible Target is 20.
The 35% progress is calculated by taking the Current Value of the contributors / Current Possible Target, 7 / 20 = 35%.
Group Percentages Where Multiple Scorecards Are Involved
Percentages for a Group Scorecard where multiple Scorecards are being combined (Organization, Managerial, etc) will be calculated by taking the points achieved per person and dividing them by the sum of the collective weights, how much the metric is worth for each individual scorecard.
The points per person at a Group level are determined by the points the individual has attained based on their personal scorecard shown on their User Dashboard.
Role 1 has a Scorecard where Activity is worth 25% of the total score and .25 points is gained for every 1 Activity.
Betty has achieved 80 / 100 Activities.
80 Activities x .25 points for each Activity = 20 personal points.
Role 2 has a Scorecard where Activity is worth 50% of the total score and .25 points is gained for every 1 Activity.
Blake has achieved 100 / 200 Activities.
100 Activities x .25 points for each Activity = 25 personal points
Role 3 has a Scorecard where Activity is worth 100% of the total score and .25 points is gained for every 1 Activity.
Diego has a target override which makes his personal target higher than other fellow role members, so Diego will achieve 0.0333 points for every 1 Activity.
Diego has achieved 250 / 3000 Activities.
250 Activities x .0333 points for each Activity = 8.3 personal points
Elizabeth has achieved 300 / 400 Activities
300 Activities x .25 points for each Activity = 75 personal points
Sum of personal points: 20 + 25 + 8.3 + 75 = 128.3
Sum of collective worth/weight from each scorecard: .25 + .5 + 1 + 1 = 2.75
Sum of personal points / sum of weights = 46% towards target for the Activity metric
Current Value / Target
The Current Value will reflect the current metric value that's been achieved by the user or group.
ex. 13 Activities have been completed today.
The Target will reflect the metric value that's to be reached by the user or group. Targets are set on a user basis, and a Group Dashboard will reflect the collective target towards the respective metric of all users.
ex. The Daily Target is to complete 20 Activities.
Points
Points are calculated based on the specific Target and Weight of a Metric determined in the Scorecard configuration. All Scorecards reflect points on a 0-100 scale with 100 being a "perfect score".
Ex. The Target is 50 Calls, the Weighting is 100%, so each Call made is worth 2 point towards the user's score. Completing 50 calls will result in 100 points.
Group Points Where Multiple Scorecards Are Involved
Similar to how Percentages are calculate on a Group Scorecard, Points for a Group Scorecard will be calculated by taking the points achieved per person and dividing them by the number of Contributors.
20 personal points / 4 group contributors = 5 points for Betty on the group level.
Role 2 has a Scorecard where Activity is worth 50% of the total score and .25 points is gained for every 1 Activity.
Blake has achieved 100 / 200 Activities.
100 Activities x .25 points for each Activity = 25 personal points
25 personal points / 4 group contributors = 6.25 points for Blake on the group level.
8.3 personal points / 4 group contributors = 2.08 points for Diego on the group level.
Elizabeth has achieved 300 / 400 Activities
300 Activities x .25 points for each Activity = 75 personal points
75 personal points / 4 group contributors = 18.75 points for Elizabeth on the group level.
5 + 6.25 + 2.08 + 18.75 = 32.08 points for the collective for the Activity metric.
