How Does Being a Cadence Manager Affect Your Reporting Hierarchy and Coaching Analytics?

A Cadence manager is responsible for approving an employee's Cadence Sessions, but no other Sessions. While a Cadence manager has limited responsibilities, this assignment does have impacts on the manager's Coaching Analytics and Managerial Dashboard. These effects are discussed below.

Reporting Hierarchy

Assigning a manager as an employee's Cadence manager does not make the employee a subordinate of the selected manager. Additionally, the manager assigned within the context of a Cadence will not be add the Manager field on the employee's account page.

Coaching Analytics

The Cadence employee's Sessions will be counted towards the manager's Coaching Analytics calculations, such as total number of Sessions completed.

Managerial Dashboard

None of the employee's metric data, including Activity and Objective score data, will be included in when calculating the manager team's metric attainment.
