How Do I Remove a Metric From a Scorecard?

When a metric no longer reflects what a team should focus on, you can remove it from the Scorecard. The remaining metrics' weights will then need to be adjusted so they still total 100%. Use the steps below to remove Metrics from any Scorecard.

Required permissions:

  • The Ambition Scores: Edit permission is required to remove a metric from a Scorecard.

Remove the Metric from the Scorecard.

  1. Go to Admin --> Scorecards.

  2. Select a Role from the Choose a Role to modify menu.

  3. In the Set the Activity Score or Set the Objective Score section, click the X icon at the end of the metric's row.

  4. A Delete Activity Metric or Delete Objective Metric pop-up will appear, asking "Are you sure you want to delete this Activity Metric? After you save the page, this cannot be undone."

  5. Click on Delete Activity Metric or Delete Objective Metric.

Rebalance the Scorecard Weights and Save Changes

  1. Adjust the remaining metrics' Scoring Weight/Importance values so they total 100%.

  2. Click on Save Scores.

  3. Enter "I UNDERSTAND" in all capital letters twice. Your changes will be applied.

Note:

  • If the metric is your North Star Objective metric, the North Star will be reset to the metric with the highest scoring weight percentage.
