Where can I find my legacy Coaching events in the new Coaching Experience?

In early 2026, Ambition released a new Coaching experience that simplified navigation, standardized the interface, and made it easier to create your desired Coaching outcome without knowing which option to select. As part of these improvements, new terms and cataloging practices were introduced and users' existing Coaching events were mapped into this structure.

This doc outlines the mapping of those existing objects and introduces the new terms used in Ambition Coaching.

Sessions

The Sessions page houses one-off Coaching events and individual occurrences of recurring coaching events. Here, you'll find the following legacy events:

1. Single Check-Ins and Check-In Nows

Labeled simply as 1:1 Sessions, these sessions can be easily surfaced by Source (One-Off) and Type (1:1 Session) from the filter panel.

2. Action Plans

These Sessions carry the label Action Sessions, these sessions can also be surfaced by Source (One-Off) and Type (Action Session) from the filter panel.

3. Individual Occurrences of Recurring Check-Ins & Programs

These are also labeled as 1:1 Sessions, and can be surfaced by Source (Recurring) or (Programs) and Type (1:1 Session) from the filter panel.

4. Individual Occurrences of Group Check-Ins

Labeled simply as Group Sessions, these events can be surfaced by Source (Recurring) and Type (Group Session) from the filter panel.

5. Individual Occurrences of Cadences

These Sessions are labeled as Cadence, and can be surfaced by Source (Cadence) and Type (1:1 Session) from the filter panel.

Programs

The Program page houses all manager-owned recurring Coaching events. Here, you'll find the following legacy events:

1. Recurring Check-Ins

Labeled with the session format Meeting Sessions, these Programs will create 1:1 Sessions on an assigned schedule for one participant. They can be surfaced by Type (Meeting Session) from the filter panel.

2. Programs

Labeled with the session format 1:1 Sessions, these Programs will create 1:1 Sessions on an assigned schedule for multiple participants. They can be surfaced by Type (1:1 Session) from the filter panel.

2. Group Check-Ins

Labeled with the session format Group Sessions, these Programs will create Group Sessions on an assigned schedule for a selected group. They can be surfaced by Type (Group Session) from the filter panel.

Managed Programs & Cadences

These Coaching events were not impacted by the new Coaching experience and can be located in the Navigation drawer under their listed names.
