Release Notes

The release notes, which are grouped by release date, include descriptions of new features, changes to existing features, and resolved issues. 

Releases for new features & product improvements are scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday nights. Additionally, releases may be conducted on an as-needed basis and can occur any day of the week. For more information on Ambition's maintenance and release schedule, click here.

March 12, 2026

Version 3.430.0

Changes to Existing Features:

  • Metric Library - Export: Adds a "most recent value" computation type on the metric library export.

  • Coaching - Updated Terminology: Updates remaining uses of "check-in" and "group check-in" within the new, unified coaching experience to reflect "sessions".

Resolved Issues:

  • Analytics - CSV Export: Resolves an issue where an exported CSV was not respecting the order of rearranged columns.

  • Coaching Analytics - Permissions: Resolves an issue where coaching utilization reports were not downloadable by those with "coaching analytics" permission.

  • Coaching - Deleted Check-Ins: Resolves an issue where recurring check-ins were unable to be deleted.

  • CSV User Upload: Resolves an issue where Salesforce auto-activiation rules were not supporting selecting Salesforce as the user source when uploading a user CSV.

Version 3.429.0

Changes to Existing Features:

  • Bracket Competition - Editing: Bracket competitions now support editing after initial creation. Competitors, scoring, and seeing are locked once the competition has begun, while the scheduling of future rounds can be adjusted as needed.

  • Bracket Competition - TV Slides: The bracket competition create form has a TV step where competitions can be directly added to the respective TVs. The TV slide form also supports selecting a bracket competition when adding a competition slide. The bracket slide will rotate between close matchups, top seeds, live countdowns, and feature the champion when the final round concludes.

Resolved Issues:

  • North Star Metric Percentage: Resolves an issue where the percentage shown on the north star metric card did not match the percentage shown on the scorecard for the same metric and time frame.

  • AI Assistant - Result Limits: Expands the amount of results that will be returned when asking about team relationships, managers, and direct reports.

Resolved Issues:

  • Coaching - Gong Agenda Item: Resolves an issue where employees could submit a coaching check-in for review without attaching a required Gong call.

  • Cisco Integration - Documentation: Resolves an issue within the Cisco integration to correctly link to the Cisco setup documentation.

  • User CSV Upload - Managers: Resolves an issue where users who had their manager permissions removed through a user CSV upload were still appearing in app with searchable manager dashboards.

  • Dashboard Metrics Tab - Metric Order: Resolves an issue where reordered scorecard metrics were reflecting the custom order on card view, but were showing alphabetically on the spreadsheet view. Views will respect the selected metric order, and users can still customize the order of columns in the spreadsheet.

Changes to Existing Features:

  • Dashboard Redirect: When the dashboard feature is disabled, an existing redirect would take users to the leaderboard app. Now when the leaderboard feature is also disabled, users will be taken to the coaching app.

  • Competitions - Hidden Mode Access: Access to turning hidden mode on or off can now be found in the quick actions menu for all competition types - challenges, fantasy, and brackets. Visibility can be adjusted without opening the full edit form.

Resolved Issues:

  • Coaching - Admin Creating Coaching Events on Behalf of Manager: Resolves an issue where a recurring check-in was created with the admin as the assigned manager instead of correctly creating a program from the selected manager.

  • Analytics - Refresh Button: Resolves an issue where the refresh button within the analytic's spreadsheet view was no longer accessible.

New Feature:

  • Bracket Competition (Beta): Create single-elimination bracket competitions just in time for March Madness! Learn more here.

Resolved Issues:

  • Coaching - Scrolling Within Template Creation: Resolves a scrolling issue within the create template form.

  • Coaching - Apply Template: Resolves an issue where templates could not easily removed from coaching agendas within the new coaching experience. Also hides the "apply template" option within managed programs.

  • Coaching - File Attachments: Resolves an issue where attached files were crashing upon download.

  • Analytics - Time Series: Resolves an issue where time series reporting was not correctly displaying the selected time frame due to activity score being disabled.

Change to Existing Feature:

  • Coaching - Metric Snapshot Agenda Items - Target/Records View: Metric snapshot agenda items are updated to no longer show the "records" button and "target" information when those options are not applicable. The records button is now hidden for activity score, objective score, and formula builder metrics. The target section will not be shown if there is not an applicable scorecard target.

Resolved Issue:

  • Date Selectors Within Modals: Resolves an issue where date selectors that were within modals were difficult to access.

Resolved Issues:

  • Coaching - Cadences: Resolves an issue that occurred when employees were re-enrolled in a cadence which caused cadence check-ins to not be generated.

  • Seismic Integration - No Data Message: Resolves an issue where users with Seismic data were incorrectly displaying a "no Seismic data" message within their user settings.

Resolved Issue:

  • Coaching - Managed Program Updates: Resolves the issue of when a managed program was updated, child programs belonging to managers who no longer managed any employees were not being updated.

Change to Existing Feature:

  • Coaching - Snapshot Agenda Items - Regenerate Snapshot: The employee assigned to complete a coaching event can now regenerate metric and pipeline snapshots. Previously, only the manager or co-coach could regenerate a snapshot. Each time a snapshot is regenerated, the name of the user who generated the snapshot will be included along with the time of the new snapshot.

Resolved Issues:

  • Coaching - Session Participants: Resolves an issue where managers were needing to refresh the coaching creation form in order to see all available participants.

  • Coaching - Locked Templates: Resolves an issue where changes to locked templates were not correctly updating managed programs.

  • AI Assistant: Resolves an issue where the assistant was presenting an error to users when a user asked a more complex question.

Change to Existing Feature:

  • Single Sign-On - Provisioning Toggle: Within single sign-on setup, the toggle that allows user accounts to be provisioned using just-in-time provisioning has a new label, "just-in-time provisioning" and will be off by default.

  • Coaching - Coaching Accountability: Resolves an issue where the "include users without data" filter was not being respected when expanding nested rows.

Change to Existing Feature:

  • AI Assistant - Coaching Tools: The AI Assistant now has access to coaching related data so that it can provide insights into prompts like, "what themes are showing up in my coaching sessions?", "who should I coach this week?", "how effective are my coaching sessions", and "summarize my last 90 days of coaching".

Resolved Issue:

  • Coaching - Recurring Check-In Timezone: Resolves an issue where the timezone selected in the recurring check-in form was not being respected during scheduling.

Change to Existing Feature:

  • Mobile App - "Back" Button Added to TVs: When viewing a TV on the Ambition mobile app, there is an explicit back button to allow accessibility back into the TV manage interface.

Resolved Issues:

  • New Coaching Form - Permissions: Resolves an issue within the new coaching experience where users were seeing options to create single, recurring, and/or group sessions when they did not have permission to save.

  • Coaching - Managed Programs Visibility: Resolves an issue where the managed program tab was visible despite the feature being disabled.

Change to Existing Feature:

  • API Integration Naming Convention: When enabling a new data integration, the previously labeled "API" integration is now labeled "Performance Data API" in order to help distinguish between a data API and a user API.

Change to Existing Feature:

  • Competitions - Use Daily Average Toggle: Adds a new scoring option of "use daily averages". Previously, the per-user average option was utilizing daily averages when a competition lasted multiple days. The two scoring options now have distinct toggles so you can choose exactly how you want your competition data scored.

Resolved Issue:

  • User Settings - Long Integration IDs: Resolves an issue where long integration IDs overlapped with other identifiers on the user settings page.
