The release notes, which are grouped by release date, include descriptions of new features, changes to existing features, and resolved issues.
Releases for new features & product improvements are scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday nights. Additionally, releases may be conducted on an as-needed basis and can occur any day of the week. For more information on Ambition's maintenance and release schedule, click here.

New Feature:
Managed Program Details Page: Managed coaching programs now have a details page which makes it easier for program administrators to view each manager's interactions with their specific program and edit the managed program itself. Navigate to the coaching manage page, click the managed programs tab, and click on the name of a managed program. Details about each manger's program and the respective check-ins will be visible as well as other details about the managed program.
Changes to Existing Features:
Goals - Sort By Options on Dashboard Goals Tab and My Goals: Adds a "sort" selector to the My Goals tab and the Goals tab on the dashboard. By default, goals will be sorted by due date with the goals ending the soonest displayed first. Sort options include: end date (ascending/descending), start date (ascending/descending), goal name (A-Z, Z-A), participant (A-Z, Z-A), and progress (ascending/descending).
Coaching - Sort By "Groups" on Check-In Pages: Adds a "group" filter to the check-in tab and the manage > check-in page to allow users to easily find all the check-ins for employees associated with a particular group (role, manager, location, etc).
Dashboard - Productivity Quadrant Persist Last Metric Selections: On the dashboard's productivity quadrant, a user's selections for X-Axis, Y-Axis, and/or timeframe will persist across their sessions, per dashboard they visit. Ex. a user may want to view a quadrant for Pipeline Created and Won Opportunities on the AE role's dashboard, while they may want to view a quadrant for Appts Set and Appts Held on the SDR role's dashboard.
Additionally on both the productivity quadrant and within quadrant analytics reporting, if a customer only has a single part of the scorecard enabled, ex. only objective score is on, then neither the X and Y-Axis metrics will be prefilled with Activity or Objective Score the first time the quadrant is accessed. Instead the user will be prompted to "search by name" for both the X and Y-Axis metrics. After an initial selection is made, those metrics will populate the quadrant next time the user accesses the quadrant.

Mobile View - Grid Actions Button: All grids will collapse the actions into a menu button on mobile sizes. The recurring goals has an updated header for desktop and mobile. The coaching notes page has an updated mobile view.
Mobile - Grid Search Interaction: On mobile size screens, clicking the search icon will hide any grid action buttons and show a full width grid search field. If there is a search term, show an indicator on the search icon.
Resolved Issues:
Coaching - Edit Note Form: Resolves a formatting issue with the "View Attachment" button when editing a coaching note.
Coaching - Metric Snapshot Agenda Item: Resolves an issue within the metric snapshot agenda item where the snapshot time was initially being returned in UTC instead of the user's local time.
Coaching - Action Plan with Goal Agenda Item: Resolves an issue where an action plan was not correctly being closed when a goal agenda item was completed.

Preserve Grid vs List View Selection on Scorecards: Per dashboard (meaning a manager could have a different view for an employee’s dashboard vs their managerial dashboard), a user’s last selection of grid vs list view for each part of the scorecard and their selection of viewing the metrics tab as cards, time series, or spreadsheet will be preserved.
Ex. If Susan last views the org’s activity scorecard as “grid” view, the grid view will display when Susan revisits the org dashboard's activity scorecard. If Susan last views Carson’s managerial dashboard objective score as a “list”, the list view will display when Susan revisits Carson’s managerial objective scorecard.
Resolved Issues:
Challenges - Point Display: Resolves an issue in how a competition's points in the metric details area was being displayed.
Coaching API - Template Endpoint: Optimized the template query to resolve a timeout issue.
Scorecard Target Template Export: Resolves an issue where targets were being exported into an incorrect metric column.
Analytics - Saved Reports: Resolves an issue where a saved report was not displayed all appropriate data before the report was saved.

Competitions - Increase Metric Limit from 5 to 8: Competitions, both challenges and fantasy competitions, can now include up to 8 metrics instead of the previous limit of 5.

Manual Input Goals - Edit After Goal Has Ended: Manually input goals will now support the ability to be updated even after the goal’s end date is passed. Previously, the manual input goal would be locked and progress could not be edited after the goal’s end date. An “edit goal progress” button will now be available to make any manual adjustments to progress even after the goal’s end date is passed.
Coaching API - Template_ID: Adds template_id to the /api/v3/check_in and /api/v3/check_in/{id} endpoints. Template ID was previously included as a parameter in v3, but it will now be included in the response as well.

Set Order of Scorecard Metrics: The scorecard editor now supports dragging and dropping both activity and objective score metrics into the desired order per role. Scorecards will be displayed in the order set up in the scorecard editor. A new sort option of "priority" is added to the metrics tab. When sorting by priority, metrics will appear in the order of activity metrics, objective metrics, and then any subsequent metrics that are selected.
Resolved Issues:
Pipeline Views - Filtering with Picklist Field: Resolves an issue that was preventing Salesforce picklist field values from being displayed in pipeline view filter options.
Pre-Reads - Executive Visibility: When "executive visibility" is enabled for coaching data, executives will be able to view pre-reads that have been generated by the manager, co-coach, or user with "coaching: all access", but cannot generate/regenerate a pre-read themselves.

New Feature:
Reprocess Challenge Results: Challenges that are finished can now have their results reprocessed. Opting to reprocess a challenge will take into account all changes that have happened since the challenge ended, ex. changes in metric values, any team changes, and any updated out of office records, so reprocess with care! Once a challenge has been reprocessed, the original results and prize winners will be overwritten, and new competition ended emails will be sent with the updated results.
Resolved Issues:
"TVs: Create" Permission: Users that had "TVs: Create" permission can once again edit and delete the TVs they create.
Metric Library - Formula Builder Metrics: The names of the underlying metrics that are combined to create a formula builder metrics are displayed again under the "object" column.

Metric Audit Export: An "Export Metric Audit" button is added to the metric library tab. When clicked, a file containing information about where each metric is being used across Ambition will be downloaded. Tabs include an overview tab which includes counts of where a metric is used, ex. 1 scorecard, and subsequent tabs will be included for each feature that give specifics about how the metric is used, ex. metric name, scorecard where it's used, score type, and weight.

Workflow Summary Page: A new summary page for each workflow that brings the information from the create/edit form into a single view. The summary page will also feature the individual “jobs” for each workflow (a representation of each alert sent by email, slack, etc), so users can see if workflows are operating as expected and troubleshoot when they aren’t.
Create New Competition Page: On the create new competition page, the challenge and fantasy cards themselves will now be clickable instead of requiring the user to just click on the create button. If the fantasy feature is off, the user is presented with a more helpful tooltip of how to enable the feature instead of the previous "feature is locked" message.
Resolved Issue:
Adding Progress to Goal: Resolves an issue where a manager could not edit/add progress to a goal. Managers who have permission to edit goals for subordinate users/groups will now be able to edit goals when they are created for the manager hierarchy level.

Metric Library - Additional Sorting and Filters: All columns on the manage grid of the metric library tab are now sortable. Users can now also filter by when a metric was created, which user created it, the last time the metric was modified, and which user made the update.
Manage Features - Package Tabs: The "platform packages" and "support packages" tab have been removed from the "Manage Features" page.

Coaching - Pipeline Snapshot Agenda Item: Pipeline views and templates can now be embedded directly within a coaching agenda. When creating a coaching agenda, select the "pipeline snapshot" agenda item, select a prebuilt view/template, ask a question, and pipeline conversations will seamlessly be a part of the coaching moment. The pipeline intelligence feature must be enabled. Learn more about the new agenda item here.
Changes to Existing Features:
Accolades - Update Modal: When making an update to an accolade's metric timeframe, the deletion modal will now feature the count of and list the exact achievements that will be invalidated and deleted with the change.
Competitions - Game Details Page Updates: Challenges and fantasy competition matchups have a new look! Details about the competition will be featured on the left side of the page, and the competitor leaderboard will be on the right.
Resolved Issue:
Metric Form - Verify Tabs and Button Styling: Resolves styling issues with the "metric" and "record" tabs within the "verify" section, and addresses styling issues with the save icon on the confirm and save changes button.

Permission - Show Stack Ranking References: A yes/no permission that determines if users are presented stack ranking information on metric cards and goal contribution. If set to no, users will not be able to see "compare against", "leader", and "sort by rank" information on dashboard metric cards. Column Grids - Pinned Column: A shadow is added to pinned columns, when a column does not move when horizontally scrolling, to help indicate that the column is pinned.

Default Notifications Tab with Organization Settings: Support for turning Ambition's default email notification off (and turning them back on again) is being introduced through a "default notifications" tab. At this time, the accolade achievement email can be turned off at the organization level. If turned off, no accolade achievement emails will be sent to any user in Ambition.

Workflows - Level of Access: Report workflows, scheduled analytics and coaching reports, now have a "level of access" selection which includes options of: public, authenticated, and restricted. Select the level of access that's most appropriate for your report workflows by determining if you want users to have to be logged in to Ambition before downloading the report, or if only the creator of the workflow should be able to download.
Resolved Issues:
Metrics Tab - Leaderboard Feature: When the leaderboard feature is turned off, metric cards will no longer feature a button to the "leaderboard".
Recurring Check-Ins - Last Modified Time: Editing recurring check-ins successfully updates the last modified time.
Coaching and Integrations Selector Visibility: Text that was previously getting cut off within dropdown selectors now wraps and is visible.
User Management - Invite Button: Resolves an issue where the "invite user" button was appearing for users who had logged in through single sign-on.

Workflows - Additional Reporting Columns: Three new columns are added to the workflows grid, actions, total alerts, and most recent alert, to provide insight into which workflows are sending out alerts and where these alerts are going. The actions column features an icon that represents where the workflow is being sent, ex. icons for Email, Slack, and TV, to provide an at a glance overview of where workflows are going. The total alerts column contains a count of how many alerts have gone out about the workflow, ex. If a workflow fired and it was sent to both Slack and Email, the totals alerts will be 2. The most recent alert column reflects the date and time of the last time an alert was sent out about the workflow.

Auto Expire Links to Workflow File Attachments: Ambition supports sending scheduled analytics and coaching reports that contain a link to a file attachment of the requested data. By default, links to file attachements will expire 14 days after being sent. If a user tries to interact with the file attachment link after the 14 day window, they will receive a 404 error.
Revoke Access to Workflow File Attachment Links: If you need to revoke access to a workflow file attachment link before the 14 day time frame is up, you can manually expire links to workflow attachments directly from the workflow > events grid. Learn more here.
Additional Columns on the Workflows > Events Page: A column featuring workflow "type" was added to to the workflow event and jobs pages, and filtering by type is supported. Additionally on the events page, columns of "attachment status" (active/expire) and "attachment expires at" were added to highlight if links to workflow file attachments are still accessible.
