FAQ: Metric Snapshot Agenda Items

Metric Snapshot Agenda Items provide a sophisticated way to review metric performance in context during your coaching conversations. Their specialized functionality helps ensure that snapshot data remains meaningful even as metric attainment and Scorecard assignment fluctuate.

The Coaching: Metric Snapshot Item must be enabled to use this Agenda Item type.
Which Dates Are Used When I Reprocess a Metric Snapshot?
Whenever you reprocess a Metric Snapshot, the data will be re-evaluated based on the date that the agenda opened, not the date on which you initiated the snapshot reprocess.
For example, if a Metric Snapshot used Week of as the reference time frame and opened on a Wednesday, reprocessing the snapshot on Thursday through Sunday would only consider data from Monday to Wednesday.
That is because in this example, the reprocess considers data from the current week, but not any days after the agenda open date even if the Session became available mid-week.
Neither the Session manager nor employee will be notified when a Metric Snapshot is reprocessed.
Why Can I Not See the Records Button?
The Records button will not be visible if there are no records to display for that metric.
Records will be unavailable if:
The metric was deleted
That metric does not appear on the employee's Scorecard
The metric was built using the Formula Builder integration
The metric is Activity Score or Objective Score
Why Are There No Targets in the Metric Snapshot?
Two criteria must be met for a target to appear within the snapshot:
The metric must be included on the employee's Scorecard
The snapshot time frame must match the Scorecard time frame for the metric in question
If an Activity Scorecard uses the daily time frame but your Metric Snapshot for the same metric uses a weekly time frame, then no target will be displayed.
If both the Activity Scorecard's metric and the Metric Snapshot use a daily time range, then a target would be displayed in the Metric Snapshot.
