Deactivate a User
Note for organizations using our Salesforce integration, by default if a User is deactivated within your Salesforce instance, their Ambition account is deactivated as well.
1. Open the left navigation and click Administration > People > Users.
2. Search for your user in the top right box labeled Search.
3. Once you've found the user you'd like to deactivate, click the gear icon, .
4. Click the Deactivate button at the bottom of the page.
5. Type I UNDERSTAND to confirm and click Deactivate This Account.
Mass Deactivate Users
If you need to mass deactivate users in Ambition, a column of "Is Active" can be added to the CSV User Upload. "Is Active" = False will deactivate users.

Note for organizations using our Salesforce integration, by default if a user's account is deactivated within your Salesforce instance, their corresponding Ambition account is deactivated as well.
Deactivation Email
Deactivated users will receive notification of account deactivation via email.
Below in an image of the deactivation email. Your organization's name will appear in the blank of the "Your ______ Ambition Account has been deactivated" message.
Reactivate a User
1. Open the left navigation and click Administration > People > Users.
Non-Salesforce User
2. Click the Filters icon, , to slide out the filter panel.
3. Update the Is Active dropdown to No.
4. Find desired user and click the plus button, + , to activate their account.
Salesforce User
By default if a user is deactivated from within your Salesforce instance, their Ambition account is deactivated as well. In a case where someone no longer appears in the Deactivated User dropdown, you can resync them following these steps:
1. Open the left navigation and click Administration > People > Users.
2. Click the + Create New User button.
3. Ensure Sync Users from Salesforce is selected in the Choose Creation Method dropdown. If your organization uses our Salesforce integration, "Sync Users from Salesforce" will be the default option.
4. Search for and select the Salesforce user(s) that you wish to sync by checking the box next to their name.
A checkmark will fill the box to signify selection.
You can search for and select multiple users at a time. Your selections will be preserved as you continue to search and select.
5. Click the Sync (#) Users button.
