Active Competitions can be monitored through:
Competitions that have finished can also be monitored through:
Final Score updates will also be sent out to Competitors via email.
Monitoring Active Competitions on Dashboards
Active Competitions, both Challenges and current Fantasy Matchups, can be monitored on the Dashboards of the competitors!
If a User, Role, Team, etc is competing in Ambition Competitions, the Competitions section of their Dashboard will be populated with Competition Standings!
The Competitions section of a Dashboard will show high level details about the Competition including:
- Competition Name
- Time left in the Competition
- The top two ranked Competitors
- If the User, Role, Team whose Dashboard you are viewing is not in the top two Competitors, their name and rank will also be displayed to help track progress towards the top!
ex. Travis's name and rank, 27th, is listed in the Weekly Calls Leader Challenge
Selecting the blue text, View Game, on a Competition tile will navigate you to viewing more in-depth details about the Competition Scoring and Competitors that is also found via the Competitions tab.
Should I see Competitions on Role, Team, or Managerial Dashboards?
Users will be able to view any active Competitions they are participating in as an Individual, Team Member, Role member, etc, BUT Competitions will not roll up to Dashboards at Org, Role, Team, etc level. Competitions will appear on Role, Team, etc Dashboards only when that Hierarchy level was chosen as the competitor.
For example, Travis is a member of the Quaint Donkeys Team as seen in the image above, but Travis's individual Weekly Calls Leader Challenge does not roll up to the Team Dashboard. Even if the Weekly Calls Leader Challenge was created for Users > Within > Quaint Donkey's Team, the Challenge is set at the User level and as a result will display only on User Dashboards.
The only Competition seen on the Quaint Donkey's Dashboard is one where Team was selected as the Competition's Hierarchy Level.
Monitoring Active/Finished Competitions Through the Competitions Tab
Active Competitions, both Challenges and current Fantasy Matchups, can be monitored through the Competitions tab within Ambition.
1. Open the left hand navigation and click Competitions.
If the logged in User is a participant in active Competitions, the Competition names will appear as a "quick links" under the Overview tab. Selecting a Competition's name will navigate you directly into viewing the respective Competition.
ex. Travis is a competitor in three Ambition Competitions. The names of each Competition as well as the type, Challenge or Fantasy, is displayed.
Selecting Q2 Opps Challenge will navigate the user directly into the respective Competition. Travis can then view his current rank in relation to the number 1 ranked competitor as well as view other Competition details.
If the logged in User is not a participant in active Competitions OR they wish to monitor other Competitions, they can monitor all active Competitions by selecting the Overview tab.
The Overview will default to being filtered down to Active Competitions the logged in User is competing in.
If the logged in User is not actively participating in any Competitions, the view will be blank.
To remove the default logged in User and Active filters, click the blue Filters button OR the small x's that appear across the top of the Overview to adjust the filtering options.
To view Finished Competitions, update the Status filter to Finished.
Filter options include:
- Type (Challenge or Fantasy)
- Competition Name
- Status (Active or Finished)

If at any time you notice a black Preview badge listed alongside a Challenge's name in the Manage Competitions interface, that Challenge was created by a member of the Ambition team.
If you've been working with Ambition Support or your CSM regarding a Challenge's setup or scoring, a member of the Ambition team can create a challenge in Preview mode that allows you to "test drive" the Challenge's setup and scoring configurations without directly notifying your users.
The Challenge can be viewed, edited, and deleted like a normal Ambition Challenge but is hidden from any user without Admin Permissions in Ambition.
Preview Challenges cannot be created in Ambition by end-users, no matter the permission set. If you have any questions about a Preview Challenge in your instance, reach out to email@example.com.
