How are the AI Suggestion chips generated?
Last updated: May 16, 2026
To help access important information fast, Ambition surfaces in-chat suggestions as chips that appear following a response from the Agent. This article explains where these suggestions come from and why they differ between users.
Ambition AI must be enabled by your organization for suggested prompts to appear.
Suggestion Chips In the Chat
When you are in a chat with the Ambition Agent, it can suggest more things to explore. These suggestions are generated dynamically; the Agent looks at your role, the Skills available to you, and what is likely to be relevant based on your chat, then surfaces a list of options.
In-chat suggestions typically include a mix of:
Skills from your Skills list that apply to your current context
Ad-hoc analytics the Agent can perform based on your data, such as querying rep performance, pipeline totals, or goal pacing
Quick-start prompts shown at the bottom of the chat based on what the Agent infers you might find useful
Because these are generated based on your role and data, a Manager might see suggestions around team performance, coaching, and pipeline, while a Rep might see suggestions relevant to their own metrics and goals.
In-Chat Suggestions Are Not A Fixed List
The Agent generates its suggestions based on context. You may see different suggestions at different times depending on what you ask, your current data, and what Skills are available to you. They are a starting point, not a complete menu, you can ask the Agent anything, not only the things it suggests.
