Should I have to log in to Ambition after I close my browser?

In most cases, your Ambition session will continue through closing the tab or browser window. You will not be logged out.

If you are seeing this behavior, here are some settings to check:

  1. Your team's Ambition admin has enabled the "Expire Session at Browser Close" option in your Ambition SSO settings. This feature is applied globally, meaning that it affects all employees who log into Ambition. It cannot be turned off for one or a group of employees.

  2. You have enabled a feature in your browser that clears all cookies after closing the browser. Here are directions for how you can check that feature in Google Chrome and Firefox.
