How Do I Pause a Recurring Coaching Program?

Required permissions:

  • The Coaching: Create Program: Can Create Program for Self is required for a manager to pause a Program that they created or which was created on their behalf.

  • The Coaching: Create Program: Can Create Programs for Any Manager permission is required to pause a Program for any manager.

  • The Coaching: All Access permission is required to pause a Program for any manager.

What Happens When a Program is Paused?

Paused Programs will not generate new coaching Sessions, but all historic Sessions will remain visible in Ambition.

Pause a Recurring Coaching Program

  1. Go to Coach --> Programs.

  2. Click on the ellipses icon next to the Program's name or click on the ellipses icon on the individual Program page.

  3. Click on Pause.

  4. Set the Pause Until date. If you do not set a date, the Program will remain paused indefinitely.

  5. Click on Pause.

Pause Multiple Recurring Coaching Programs

  1. Go to Coach --> Programs.

  2. Click on the checkbox next to the name of every Program that should be paused.

  3. Select Pause from the Actions menu.

  4. Set the Pause Until date, or leave the date field blank if the Program should be paused indefinitely.

  5. Click on Pause.

Resume a Recurring Coaching Program

You can unpause or resume a Program by following the steps outlined in the sections above and choosing Resume instead of Pause.
