Frontline Managers: Manager Dashboard and Homepage

What you'll learn in this module

This module will teach you how to view your team's data in Ambition. You'll start by reviewing your manager dashboard and then delve into scorecard formatting and light data troubleshooting (no complicated math involved!).

What you'll be able to do afterwards

1. View your team's Activity and Objective Score data on your managerial dashboard.

2. View your team's performance on your managerial dashboard's metrics tab, where you can track your performance for multiple metrics, across multiple time frames, and against other teams.

3. Understand how scorecard totals are calculated for individual employees and when rolled up to your team's dashboard.

4. Create a leaderboard for your direct reports.

5. Perform light data troubleshooting.

Manager dashboard

1. Access the Activities tab on your managerial dashboard. Click on a metric to expand it so that you can see each team member's contribution.

2. Click on the "Include Weekends" toggle to see your team's Activity Score attainment previous weekends.

3. Access the Objectives tab on your managerial dashboard. Click on "Grid View" to see the data presented in a grid format.

Metrics tab

1. Click on "Select Metrics" and pick three metrics to view. If your default view includes more than three metrics, deselect those.

2. View the three selected metrics using the "This Week" time frame.

3. Use the "Compare Against" dropdown selector pick another group to compare your team against. Use "This Month" as the time frame.

4. Click on the "Time Series" view and set the time frame to be "10 Days Ending Yesterday."

5. Click on "Spreadsheet" to view your team's performance in a spreadsheet-style layout.

Leaderboards

1. Create a leaderboard which tracks your team's Activity Score attainment for this week. Set the "Rank By" field to "Value."

2. Create a leaderboard which tracks your team's Objective Score for this month. Set the "Rank By" field to "Most Improved Rank."
