What Is a Co-Coach and What Can They Do?

What is a Co-Coach?

A Co-Coach is an employee who will have managerial access to the coaching Session. Any employee can be made a Co-Coach, regardless of their permission level.

Co-coaches are a great fit for assistant managers or HR professionals who play a role in the coaching process.

There is no limit to how many Co-Coaches can be added to a Session or Program.

Required permissions:

  • There is no permission required to be marked as a Session Co-Coach. Any employee can be a Co-Coach, even if they do not have system Admin or Manager permissions.

 

What a Co-Coach Can Do

  • View and edit the Session's Agenda Items

  • Leave comments on individual Agenda Items

  • View comments left on the Session by the employee or manager

  • Leave Shared Notes for the employee and manager to view*

  • View Shared Notes linked to the Session created by the employee or manager*

  • Leave a Private Note

  • Create Action Items

  • View Action Items linked to the Session

  • Approve the Session

  • Re-open expired Sessions

  • Excuse the Session

  • Extend an open Session

  • Rate the Session

  • Delete a Group Session

  • Edit a Group Session's Agenda

  • Edit a Group Session's recurrence

Note:

  • Co-Coaches must have the Coaching: Create Note permission to leave notes

What a Co-Coach Cannot Do

  • Delete Sessions

  • View Private Notes created by the Session manager

  • Create an Action Item from the Session page
