What Is an Activity Score?

An employee or Group's Activity Score measures their progress towards short-term, activity-oriented goals.

How Is the Activity Score Calculated?

The Activity Score is a weighted calculation based on the metrics on an employee's Scorecard, with the target always being an Activity Score of 100 points.

For the example calculations below, assume that the Sales Development Representative (SDR) Activity Scorecard includes the following metrics and metric weights:

  • Outbound Calls: 50 per day, worth 50% of the daily Activity Score; 1 Activity Score point per Call.

  • Prospecting Emails: 50 per day, worth 30% of the Activity Score; 0.6 Activity Score points per Email sent.

  • LinkedIn Messages: 5 per day, worth 20% of the Activity Score; 4 Activity Score points per LinkedIn Message.

Example 1: Achieving 100 Activity Score Points

  • Outbound Calls made: 50 (50 * 1 point) = 50 points

  • Prospecting Emails made: 50 (50 * 0.6 point) = 30 points

  • LinkedIn Messages made: 5 (5 * 4 points) = 20 points

  • Activity Score calculation: 50 + 30 + 20 = 100

Example 2: Achieving 70 Activity Score Points

  • Outbound Calls made: 30 (30 * 1 point) = 30 points

  • Prospecting Emails made: 40 (40 * 0.6 point) = 24 points

  • LinkedIn Messages made: 4 (4 * 4 points) = 16 points

  • Activity Score calculation: 30 + 24 + 16 = 70
