What Happens When I Turn Off Scorecard Proration?

Last updated: November 6, 2026

Proration can be turned off for a single Scorecard metric or for your whole organization. In both cases, Ambition will reprocess scores for the current time frame without targets being prorated.

In this article, you'll learn what to expect both when Proration is turn off for a single metric and for all Scorecards.

Required permissions:

  • The Ambition Scores: Edit permission is required to turn Proration off for a Scorecard metric.

  • The Organization: Edit permission is required to disable the Scorecards: Target Proration feature.

Turning Off Proration for a Metric

Toggling Prorate Target to Off for one or more metrics will reprocess scores for the current time frame (this week, this month, this quarter). Historical time frames (last week, last month, last quarter) won't be affected, and historical scores will not be recalculated.

Turning Off Proration for Your Organization

Turning off the Scorecards: Target Proration feature will reprocess scores for the current time frame. Any daily Activity Scores will have their targets restored. Scores for current time frames longer than one day (week, month, quarter) will be reprocessed without the prorating calculations for any days an employee was marked Out of Office. Historical time frames and scores will not be affected.
