How Do I Create an Integration Health Status Alert?
Last updated: November 5, 2026
An Integration Health Status Alert Workflow sends an email when Ambition finds a problem with data coming in from one of your integrations and another email once that problem is resolved. This Workflow type can only be sent by email.
After reading this article, you'll know how to create an Integration Health Status Alert for your organization.
Required permissions:
The Workflows: Create or Workflows: All Access permission is required to create an Integration Health Status Alert.
Access the Workflow Creation Page
Go to Hub --> Workflows.
Select Create Workflow to open the Create New Workflow page.
Find the Integration Health Status Alert tile, then click its Create button.
Type a name for the alert in the Workflow Name field. You can also add a short Description explaining what the alert tracks.
Keep the Active Status toggle set to Active so the alert starts watching your integrations right away. Switching it to Inactive pauses the alert.
Write the Alert Message
Select Add Alert Message to move to the next step.
Type the text you want included in the email into the Message field. You can add images and GIFs to the message body if desired.
Select Who Will Receive this Alert
Select Add Actions.
Choose the Email card and decide who should get the email: Send an email to myself, Send an email to a user or multiple users, or Send an email to the following: for addresses outside Ambition.
Finish by clicking Create Workflow. A confirmation message will let you know the alert was saved.
Note:
Ambition only sends this alert when it finds an error in incoming data. If an integration simply stops sending data, no alert will go out.
