Why is my historical data missing from Ambition?

Why do I not have historical data in Ambition?
There are four common reasons why you may not have historical data in Ambition:
You were recently activated in Ambition.
You recently joined a group within Ambition.
You were deactivated for a long period and were recently reactivated.
Your previous data has been recalculated or deleted.
Ambition Activation Dates
Situation
Your Ambition account was created on June 1, 2025 but you've been working at Acme Corporation since April 1.
Why isn't your April 1 to May 31 data appearing in Ambition?
Explanation and Solution
Ambition will only display data from the date on which you joined Ambition onwards. Since you joined on June 1, only your June 1, 2025 to present data will appear in Ambition.
Your Ambition activation date will need to be changed. You can contact your Ambition administrator to adjust your Ambition activation date.
Group Join Dates
Situation
You joined the Account Executive Level II role group on June 15.
Your April 1 to June 14 historical data is appearing on your personal dashboard, but it doesn't appear when you view your role group dashboard.
Why doesn't your April 1 to June 14 data appear on the Account Executive Level II role group dashboard?
Explanation and Solution
Ambition will only display data from the date on which you joined the Account Executive Level II group onwards. Since you joined on June 15, only your June 15, 2025 to present data will appear in Ambition.
Your Ambition group join date should be changed so that your April 1 to June 14 data will appear.
You can contact your team's administrator or the Ambition Support team to adjust your group join date. Your admin will need to confirm the desired group join date before changes can be made.
Deactivation Period
Situation
You were active in Ambition from January 1, 2025 to March 31, 2025. Your account was deactivated on April 1 and reactivated on June 1.
Explanation and Solution
Ambition will only display data for dates on which you were an active Ambition user, so your April 1 to May 31 data wouldn't appear in Ambition.
Your Ambition activation date, and any corresponding group join dates, would need to be adjusted to be before April 1, 2025.
Reach out to your team's administrator or the Ambition Support team to adjust these dates. Your admin will need to confirm the desired Ambition activation and group join date before changes can be made.
Data Recalculation or Deletion
Situation
Data on your personal dashboard has been recalculated and is either higher or lower than before.
For example, you had originally received credit for two Closed Won Deals on June 1, 2025. After the data update, you're no longer receiving credit for the deal with Acme Corp.
Explanation and Solution
Data can be recalculated due to the reasons below, among others:
Scorecard configuration updates that are being applied to historical data
Metric configuration updates that are being applied to historical data
Ambition receiving records where the "IsDeleted" field on a record is set to "True"
Pick one or two dates and identify a record that is missing, such as a Closed Won Deal with Acme Corp on June 1, 2025.
Contact your team's product owner to see if they're aware of any scorecard, metric, or record changes that would lead to the record no longer being counted.
