How Do I Remove Access to a Workflow Report Attachment?
Last updated: November 5, 2026
Required permissions:
The Workflows: All Access permission is required to expire a report attachment.
Scheduled Analytics Reports, Scheduled Coaching Reports, and Scheduled Pipeline Intelligence Reports are sent with a download link that expires 14 days after the report is sent. For example, if a report went to the wrong person, you can expire its link early so the file can no longer be downloaded.
Here's how to expire a report attachment before its scheduled date.
Find the Report
Navigate to Hub --> Workflows and click on the Events tab.
To narrow the list, click on the filter icon at the top of the list. In the Filters menu, choose a Workflow, Workflow Type, or Timeframe, then click on Apply.
Navigate to the report and review these two columns:
Attachment Status: Active means the link can still be downloaded. Expired means it can't.
Attachment Expires At: The date and time the link will stop working if the report is not manually expired.
Expire the Attachment
Click on the ellipses icon next to the report's name and select Expire Attachment. If the report expired on its own, the Expire Attachment option will not appear.
A pop-up window titled Expire Attachment opens with the warning "Expiring an attachment will remove the ability for workflow recipients to download it." Click on Confirm to continue, or Cancel to close the window without making changes.
You will see a confirmation message once the report has been expired.
The Attachment Status changes to Expired, and Attachment Expires At updates to the date and time you expired it.
Note:
Expiring an attachment can't be undone.
Anyone who opens an expired link will see a "page not found" page instead of the file.
